A lot to be thankful for
As we approach the first Thanksgiving since 4 members of my family began the HMR journey, I want to thank the health educators at Alegent HMR in Omaha. My wife and I started last February. Our adult son started a week later. Our adult daughter started in August. Everyone is in Phase 2 now and we’re all doing well. The three who started in February are all at (or below) their goal weights. Daughter is well on her way. The basic HMR program, together with outstanding guidance by Alegent staff, … Continue reading →
Thank You Alegent Health at Home
I cannot tell you how much I am impressed with Alegent Health. I must tell you how my whole world changed after receiving a delivery from your medical equipment staff. Getting to know the unknown

The “Ta-ta Sisterhood”
Our “Ta-Ta Sisterhood” is a group of 10 wonderful women who made the trek in October together, to have their annual mammograms at Mercy Hospital’s Mammogram Suite. Our group “leader” Jannine thought of the idea 2 years ago when she invited 4 of us to join her. She gathered our information and made the appointments so that we would could be seen one after the other. We all know that going to get your mammogram isn’t something you necessarily look forward to, so her idea of making it a fun “girls’ day out” made it … Continue reading →
Not everything can be planned ….
I wanted to let you know about the experience I had at Midlands on the maternity floor. We had decided to deliver our third child at Midlands after two deliveries at a different hospital. Because our son was past his due date, we planned on being induced on May 16th. We checked in the night of the 15th and the nurse, Megan, handled everything the moment we stepped on the floor. She walked us through the plan and made us feel very comfortable with her knowledge and confidence in the hospital … Continue reading →
