While all of the Olympic action wrapped up in Vancouver this weekend, some serious Paralympic competition unfolded right here in the metro. Twenty Paralympic athletes joined more than 140 able-bodied competitors for one of the country’s largest integrated sitting volleyball tournaments.

Our own Immanuel Rehabilitation Center was a proud sponsor of the event, which featured 24 teams (a HUGE leap from the mere three teams registered in 2005) and eight players from the U.S. men’s & women’s national teams.
